FRED YAGER, President and Founder, has an impressive career with all aspects of the media beginning with his years as a war correspondent for the Navy followed by 13 years at the Associated Press. He also worked for CBS Evening and Morning News and Fox Television before entering the world of PR as VP Communications for Merrill Lynch and Head of PR for AARP Financial Services. He is also the author or co-author of 5 fiction and 2 non-fiction books.
JAN YAGER consults on foreign and subsidiary rights as well as working as a writer, publicist, and speaker. She has published 30 nonfiction and fiction books beginning with her first title, published by Scribner’s when she was 26. She has worked in publishing at Macmillan Publishing Company and Grove Press; since 1996, she has run Hannacroix Creek Books, Inc., which has sold foreign rights in more than 20 languages.
